Step 5: Reviewing Offers

Receiving an offer is exciting, but it is just the beginning. I will carefully review each offer with you, verifying buyer qualifications and evaluating terms. If an offer is not ideal, we can negotiate through counteroffers or adjustments such as closing costs, repairs, or timing to bridge the gap.

Step 6: Accepting the Offer

When the right offer comes in, I will review the contract details to make sure everything is in order. This includes financing terms, inspection rights, contingencies, settlement date, and the distribution of fees. Once both parties agree, the contract becomes official and we move forward toward settlement.

As closing approaches, I will confirm with the settlement company that everything is ready so there are no surprises.

Closing is when ownership officially transfers to the buyer. We will meet with the settlement company to sign documents and finalize the sale. At this stage, we also handle final details such as canceling utilities, providing keys, and leaving behind any instructions for the new owner.
